Rodney J. Stevens
Rod specializes in civil litigation representing commercial and residential landlords, homeowners associations, small businesses, non profit corporations, and individuals in a wide variety of disputes. Rod is often hired by St. Louis, Kansas City and out of state law firms to appear as local counsel in lawsuits filed in Boone County.
Rod graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1988 with a Political Science degree. Rod then attended law school at the University of Texas-Austin and graduated in 1991 with a Juris Doctorate degree. After law school, Rod practiced law for four years with a law firm in West St. Louis County. In 1996 Rod joined Jones, Powell and Stevens, LLC and was made a name partner in 2009.
